Falmouth Branding Photoshoot for Local Author
One of the benefits of personal branding photography is the opportunity it provides me to meet so many inspiring women! Ally Coburn is one of those women! She’s the author of: Golden Hour: A Cape Cod Story.
Ally has been visiting Cape Cod since before she was born:). She moved to the Cape in 2012. Golden Hour is her love letter to the Cape, inspired by her childhood tradition of watching the sunset over Cape Cod Bay. The tradition was started by her grandfather, Harold, and is one that she continues today with her own children.
The day of our photoshoot was crisp (more like FREEZING!), clear and sunny. We began the shoot at a local coffee shop, The Daily Brew. It was very crowded (great for the coffee shop, not so much for our photo session)! Ally was unfazed (I can’t say the same😅) and we captured some really cute photos.
We moved on to Megansett Beach and despite the cold 42degrees, and the biting wind, Ally was a natural! Looking at the photos, you’d never now how cold it was.
Recently, Ally’s story was featured in the Cape Cod Chronicle! If you’re a sunset lover like myself, or you also appreciate the magic of Cape Cod, you definitely should check out Ally’s book.
You can find it at: -When the Sidewalk Ends bookstore in Chatham, Ma, The Brewster Store, and Below the Brine Bookshop in Harwich Port, and in Falmouth, MA at October Gulls!
